Disco 3000 issue 4 and None of This Is Normal out today!

Indie Rock is dead. I don’t want to say “and long live Indie Rock” because honestly? I don’t know if it’s worth it.

Excited to announce that Disco 3000 issue 4: Indie Sleaze Huntington is out today! Buy it on Etsy here! This is a look back at Huntington circa 2005-2012. If you were alive then (congrats on being alive currently… I think) or simply love a deep dive into niche subcultures, be sure and check this one out. And for the first time ever, this issue of Disco 3000 has a color cover!

MLK once said that the biggest threat was not the overt bigots but the white moderate, “who is more devoted to ‘order’ than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice.”

“Back to brunch” dems think this is going to be over in four years and that installing another Obama is going to tidy things up. But it’s not. This country has been hemorrhaging a long time, it’s just that now the wounds are open and visible. And no slapping a band-aid on it is going to truly help.

I’m also excited to bring you the first in the Molly Moocher Press zines: None of This Is Normal. It’s a look at surviving late-stage capitalism while trying to live through *gestures wildly*. Wavering from humorous to grim in equal measures, this zine definitely captures the zeitgeist vibes of today. Pick up your copy here.
