Disco 3000 #3 is out today! “What a Drag It Is Getting Old” is all about the aging process: the good, the bad, and the cringe. I turn 40 this year and will have been making zines for almost 30 years soon. Articles in this one include my childhood fascination with the song “Chattahoochee,” thoughts on Hurricane Helene and local responses to homelessness, and aging as a queer trans man. Grab your copy here for now; brick and mortar spots will be stocked up some point in the near future. And trades are always welcome, whether zines or what have you!
Summer is coming up, and I have a lot of rad vending and workshop opportunities on the slate already! Let’s cook:
May 27 – Huntington Zine Hangout @ HACks 5th Floor event space
June 14 – Fayetteville WV Pride (workshop and vending)
June 16 – Kids Zine Workshop @ YMCA Summer Camp – Huntington, WV
July 7 – Kids Zine Workshop @ YMCA Summer Camp – Huntington, WV
July 12 – SAVE THE DATE, announcement tba
July 19 – Central City Makers Market – Huntington, WV

I participated in Queer Zest Zine Fest, a virtual shindig, last year and had a blast. This year, we’re here, we’re queer, and we’re taking over September! Highly suggest submitting an application, which you can find here.
